What size are the jars? How many will the butter fill? Must they be refrigerated?? Thanks so much, looks like a great treat
Hi Carla! These jars were 3.5 ounces and the recipe filled up 5 of them! Yes, they need to be refrigerated and will last up to 3 weeks that way! They make such beautiful gifts!
I can’t wait to try this recipe. Where are the cute jar from??
I found them in the dollar section at Target last year! They always have cute jars!
How long will this stay fresh in fridge? Can you water bath the jars safely?
Hi Sue! It can stay in the fridge for up to one month! I do NOT recommend trying the water bath. When reading up on this I realized that pumpkin is one vegetable that is not safe to water bath due to the lower acidity. So I did not!
