Description

This homemade Dark Chocolate Hummus takes under 5 minutes to make and is beyond delicious! Made with a handful of simple plant based ingredients, this creamy chocolate dip is naturally vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, and made without any refined sugar. It is fantastic with strawberries, raspberries, nuts, toast, crackers, or just eaten by the fudgy spoonful! A great healthy, high protein option when you're looking for a quick and healthy treat to satisfy your sweet tooth.


Ingredients

Scale

15 ounce can chickpeas (unsalted), drained & rinsed

1/4 cup tahini

1/4 cup maple syrup

1/4 cup olive oil

1/2 cup dark chocolate cocoa powder

1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon sea salt

Water if needed


Instructions

  1. Blend. Place all ingredients into a blender and pulse until mixture is fully combined and smooth, stopping to scrape down the blender as needed. Add a small amount of water to thin it out if needed. Serve immediately or store in air tight container in the fridge.

Notes

Store: Store in an air-tight container in the fridge for up to 4 days. When ready to eat, give it a good stir. If it has dried out add a tiny bit of olive oil and stir it in.
