Let Me Remind You: Three

Let me remind you...

that the God of the universe wrote your storyline. Imagine the person that you care the most for in this world. Think of the amazing things that you would write into that person’s story if you were given the opportunity. Think of the level of care that you would take in crafting their narrative. How meticulously you would chose every word, every description, every scene. How closely you would listen to them when they spoke about their hopes and desires. And how intent and purposeful you would be in creating their character arc. How badly would you want them to trust that you wrote every detail of their story with their best interest at heart? How badly would you want them to zoom out and see the full picture? You would want them to know and to trust that you wrote every single word in order for them to ultimately have the most beautiful epilogue of all. The greatest Author of all time has written your story. Never doubt that He has poured into the pages of your life with more consideration than you could ever dream. You are His main character and He has plans for you. Big, God-sized plans. When this life makes you doubt that fact, call on Him to bring your perspective back to Him and His storyline.

Jeremiah 29 MSG

10-11 This is God’s Word on the subject: “As soon as Babylon’s seventy years are up and not a day before, I’ll show up and take care of you as I promised and bring you back home. I know what I’m doing. I have it all planned out—plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for.”

12 “When you call on me, when you come and pray to me, I’ll listen.”

13-14 “When you come looking for me, you’ll find me. Yes, when you get serious about finding me and want it more than anything else, I’ll make sure you won’t be disappointed. I’ll turn things around for you. I’ll bring you back from all the countries into which I drove you, bring you home to the place from which I sent you off into exile. You can count on it.”

With love,
Lauren
