"Breathing dreams like air."

- Research dining options for upcoming trip
Favorite Finds
- Instagram ad targeting has me in a chokehold. These dishes now consume my every thought and in those rare moments they don’t, I get served another ad for them.
- Between this tote and this beauty of a bag for a spring/summer work bag. Outside of work I’m a small bag girl, but I schlep around too much during a work day so these sizes hit just right.
- Pulled this book out of the TBR stack to start this week.
- I’m a heavy side sleeper, so this eye tape has been a godsend. I’ve tried several shapes/sizes this brand carries and these are my favorite. I’ve only used it under/beside my eyes, but I swear it could work for anything.
- Watched With Love, Meghan on Netflix this weekend and I, like everyone else, have thoughts – lots of them – but none I think need sharing other than this. Basically, it’s a lifestyle show. Don’t watch it to learn anything because you probably won’t as it’s all pretty much common sense stuff. Watch it for her fashion choices, tiny glimpses into her life and the beauty of Montecito. What I took away from it? One, I need to do a style guide on Meghan, like today, and two, I need to work on my penmanship. Her calligraphy in the final episode… Now that could be a show!
- You know something is good when you go back to buy the exact thing twice. I can’t say enough about these Mary Janes. I’ve worn them all over Europe, New York, California. Every season, every type of weather, every outfit – They are gold. I’ve gotten the most use out of the Ecru Nappa and am now looking to grab the classic Black Nappa and the Saddle Nappa Woven style as well.
- Listening to Lady Gaga’s new song, How Bad Do You Want Me, on repeat. I can’t say I’ve ever been a huge Gaga fan, but she’ll have a song every now and then that scratches my brain just right and this is one of them. I can’t explain it, but there’s some kind of nostalgia to it.
- Picked up these jeans a few weeks ago and keep reaching for them. They’re a slight detour from my usual straight leg, but not by much. Just enough to make them extremely comfortable.
- Michael has me hooked on Drew Hallgrimson’s cleaning posts. Why is this so mesmerizing?
- So, I bought the Oura Ring 4. I’ve only worn it for a few days, so it’s hard to tell much since a lot of metrics are still calibrating, but so far I can tell that it’s going to push me in all of the right ways. I’m naturally a night owl, so my sleep scores are – not so shockingly – abysmal. Seeing it in their app format pushes me to want to change that, which I’ve never cared to do before, so that’s a win. The first day I wore it on my dominant hand and found the step counter to be insanely off (way too high). I read some things online that said to switch it to my non-dominant hand and that did help it regulate better, but it’s still over counting steps. I have a routine where I kind of know how many I get in a day depending on the length of my nightly walk, so I’m watching it to see if it will level out the more I wear it, but just a heads up – Maybe look into a watch type tracker if you’re mainly looking for step counting.
- Just restocked on these Amazon ankle socks. The most perfect length I’ve found.
