This vibrant smoothie is made with dragon fruit (aka pitahaya), pineapple, banana, coconut flakes, chia seeds, hemp seeds, and coconut water. You'll love this low calorie, high fiber smoothie!


Ingredients

  • 1 cup frozen dragon fruit
  • 1 cup frozen pineapple
  • 1/2 frozen banana
  • 1/2 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1/2 tablespoon hemp seeds
  • 1 tablespoon coconut flakes
  • 1 cup coconut water

Instructions

  1. Add to blender. Add all of the ingredients to a high speed blender. Start with liquid, followed by the frozen fruit, and the remaining ingredients . Blend on high for at least 1 minute or until smooth. Add more water if needed to reach desired smoothie thickness. Makes 20 ounces.

Notes

  • If your fruit isn't frozen, be sure to add in a large handful of ice to get that good cold smoothie consistency.
  • Add mint or basil for even more flavor.
  • Use filtered water, coconut milk, or almond milk instead of water.
  • Swap the pineapple for mango.
