– Alfred Hitchcock

Not sure where to start when it comes to outfitting your kitchen? I’ve got you covered. Below is a carefully curated list with eleven of our most-loved kitchen essentials, each one linked for easy shopping. Whether you’re settling into your first home, building a wedding registry, or simply upgrading your kitchen tools, these are the must-haves that make cooking a breeze. Be sure to bookmark this list—it’s your perfect guide to creating a space that’s both functional and full of timeless charm.

1. Gold Baking Set

We have had our set of these for going on six years and use them daily. Whether roasting veggies, baking cookies, or just warming up sourdough; they always come in handy. Plus, they’re really pretty.

2. Drinking Glasses

Our most used when it comes to glasses. We have these sets in three sizes, 16, 21, and 24 ounces and they are the best for smoothies and juice. Bonus… they come with lids.

3. Daily Knife Set

This set of two are the only knives we own right now and honestly, I haven’t ever thought we needed any others. They feel good in your hand and have stayed perfectly sharp, but I do sharpen them once or twice a year for maintenance.

4. Chopping Block

I am so in love with this chopping block. Is it’s thickness excessive? Maybe, but that’s where the charm is.

5. Nesting Mixing Bowls

We got these bowls on a random Tuesday last year and they are the BEST. The sizes are great, they clean easily, nesting is a huge yes, and they come with lids for food storage.

6. vitamix pro 750

The star of our kitchen and worth every single penny. We use this blender for everything; smoothies, dips, dressings, soups, and more. If you’re a daily smoothie maker it is a must.

7. walnut utensils

I can’t explain why it’s so difficult to choose kitchen utensils, but these have surpassed expectation. Not only are they stunning from the get go, but they age beautifully.

8. ELECTRIC KETTLE

As an avid tea drinker, this kettle was a game changer. The temperature control and sleek design won me over, but I’ve been told by Michael that the precision pour spout is great for pour-over coffee.

9. DUTCH OVEN

The Le Creuset dutch oven cannot be beat. We’ve tried a few other brands over the years and always, every time, have come back to the Le Creuset. If you’re concerned about sizing, I recommend the 5 1/2 quart as it’s a good middle ground. But I must say, we also have the largest 13 1/4 quart and it is glorious come soup season. They cook beautifully, clean easily, last a lifetime, and look stunning in your kitchen.

10. WHOLE SLOW JUICER

When I started juicing, we looked into every kind of juicer out there. After plenty of research, we landed on this whole slow juicer. It’s easy to clean, quick to use, and there are no blades that could dull or rust, increasing its longevity.

11. CAST IRON COOKWARE

I used to think every kitchen needed a traditional stainless cookware set, but after building out my own kitchen over the years I’ve changed my tune. Now? Now, I say invest in Le Creuset – A medium/large dutch oven, their skillet fry pan, and a saucepan and, mark my words, you’ll never look back.

With love,
Lauren
