With March only days away I can't help but be filled with excitement. Outdoor entertaining is my favorite by far, so I was determined to shoot this bridal tea outdoors! With Spring comes many bridal events - bridal brunches, wedding showers, and so much more! Since throwing my little sister's bridal shower this time last year, one of the most searched for topics on Going For Grace has been hosting bridal events. I had been planning to create more wedding related content this year for just this reason!

People often ask me where I get my inspiration for the posts on GFG and I am not shy in saying that nine times out of ten it is from a piece of clothing. Whether it is an eye catching print or a fabulous silhouette, I can always find inspiration through a piece of clothing. This bridal tea was no different! The very second that I spotted this dress I knew it needed to accompany a bridal tea. The romantic ruffles, feminine floral pattern, and light colors make this dress the perfect piece for any bridal event this Spring!

A Bridal Tea: Three Tips

Layers- Remember when we were little and would play tea party, we had to have layers! A placemat, charger, plate, saucer, tea cup... The more the better when it comes to a tea party, right?!

Greenery - One element that I wish I had included more into my own wedding is greenery. A little greenery can bring your whole table to life and there is something so lovely about bringing natural elements into a formal table. I fell in love with these boxwood placemats and how they beautifully compliment my great grandmother's china!

Elegance - The most important aspect to a bridal tea is creating an atmosphere of elegance. Effortless elegance to be exact! This can be done through the music you play in the background, the fresh scent of flowers on the tables, the layered place settings, or even your own dress. It seems simple, but the more elegant that you feel as the host, the more elegant your guests will feel themselves!

A special thank you to Maggy London for making this post possible! As always, all thoughts and opinions are my own. Thank you so much for supporting the brands that make Going For Grace possible!
