what i'm reading
- Physical – I’m at an impasse of Jane Eyre or Vanity Fair. I haven’t read the former since college and I’m not ready to leave the Bronte sister’s world just yet, so I’m leaning that way for our next in the Underlined series.
- Ebook – In the romance department, just finished Just Breaking The Rules. I’m all in on a bakery moment. A cute, light, (sort of) slow burn.
- Audio – About to start Theo of Golden. I’ve heard nothing but good things and always that it’s a good one to listen to.
what I'm watching
- Have to start with “Wuthering Heights”. If you love romance, cinema, and big feelings it’s a must. Keep in mind that I love a reimagining, but if you go in knowing that’s what it is and not expecting it to be by the book, I think you’ll enjoy it. To me, the essence of the book and all of the emotion and turmoil it entails (at least in the first half, since that’s where it ends) is there. They just altered the timeline/storyline a bit. I honestly had a great time noticing the changes and liberties they took while I watched. But I’m one who thinks Emily Bronte would have eaten a modern version like this up, so take that for what it’s worth.
- You’re probably tired of hearing this, but Love Story: John F. Kennedy Jr. & Carolyn Bessette… Obsessed. Michael and I are both locked in. This is Sarah Pidgeon’s moment and I’m here for it.
- Bridgerton season four is back and I’ve got a few episodes to go, but so far all I have to say is… Get it Violet.
- We just started 56 Days and I’m intrigued. Too early to tell what exactly is going on, but it’s got my attention.

what I'm making
Admittedly in such a cooking rut right now. Going to try and pull myself out of it with some fresh flavors and recipes this week. This classic sheet pan meal and these street tacos are on the list. Possibly these black bean burgers.
what I'm wearing
It’s funny when the entire internet feels like it’s latching onto a style I’ve held since my teen years. With so much talk of Carolyn Bessette, I feel like for once in my life I align with a trend cycle and honestly… I’m not sure how I feel about it (ha!). This week was the first that I’ve been able to trade my signature ribbed turtlenecks for button-downs, and it feels so very good. The combo I’m loving most right now is a black-button down with these jeans and my Chanel slingback flats (similar Amazon find here). Chef’s kiss.
Below are a few that fill my closet:
- My favorite right now. The cut, sleeve rollability, tuckability, and button placement are so good.
- Always love these for travel. So effortless. And may be an odd note, but I love the way they wrinkle.
- Perfectly oversized.
what I'm shopping
- When doing some research into seed cycling, I came across this company Sync Botanicals and their cycle syncing tea. I finished my first box of it and am beyond impressed. It was the only tweak I made that month and there was a noticeable difference in all of the ways that count. I’m a big tea drinker, so I love this nightly ritual and each blend actually tastes incredible. I’m now subscribed.
- Always looking for a lip stain that works. Always. This one from Summer Fridays did not disappoint. I love that the application can be so precise with no peeling or flaking. I’ve been using shade Plum and Rosette. Actually super curious about shade Almond as well. While I still love this lip oil stain, this pen is no doubt the longest lasting that I’ve tried.
what I'm doing
Tweaking routines, any and all.
