“Those who find ugly meanings in beautiful things are corrupt without being charming. This is a fault. Those who find beautiful meanings in beautiful things are the cultivated. For these there is hope.”

what i'm reading
I’ve come to find I’m odd in the way I like to read physical copies of classics, ebook romance, and audio biographies all at once, so I’m going to start listing each that way.
- Physical – The Picture of Dorian Gray is my current classic and I’m eating it up. I listened to it ages ago, but like I said above, there’s something about annotations and dog-eared pages of a classic that scratches my brain just right.
- Ebook – In the romance department, I’ve been waiting on the new Sarah Adams release, In Your Dreams, for months. If you haven’t started this series yet… One, I’m jealous. And two, I suggest going back and starting with book one. After finishing this one, I’m thinking one and two might be my favorites.
- Audio – Just started Once Upon A Time: The Captivating Life of Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy. I have a hardcover copy and started reading it earlier this year to get distracted with another. It’s better suited for audio for me, but the hardcover is a great bookshelf book.
what I'm watching
- We watched so many movies and series over the holidays. One of our favorites being F1. I wasn’t sure if I’d enjoy it going into it knowing nothing about F1, but I really did. Fully invested by the end.
- We somehow ended up doing a full Succession re-watch in December. I swear it’s one of those shows that’s even better the second and third time around.
- Rented Eternity on a whim one slow night and it may be one of my top ten favorite movies. The concept, Elizabeth Olsen’s acting. I haven’t shut about it since.
what I'm listening to
- Cooked all the last two weeks to this playlist and I’m going to need more of that in 2026.
what I'm making
Made the best salad for Christmas at my parent’s house. This is my exact dressing recipe.
- mixed greens
- shaved brussels sprouts
- mandarin oranges
- pear slivers
- pomegranate seeds
- pecans
- apple cider vinegar dressing
what I'm wearing
- We’ve fluctuated from a 70 degree Christmas to a 30 degree New Year here this week and this cardigan has braved it all. It’s so good my collection keeps growing: navy, red, light gray. Eying the argyle as we speak.
- I’m admittedly not a puffer coat kind of girl, but there comes a time where you have no option. This coat is the only thing getting me through my winter walks. And because I have a thing with color coordination, I often steal a navy one of Michael’s that looks super similar to this one.
- Initially bought for travel, this GAP sweater set has become a cozy staple. Light gray all the way. Currently 40% off. Side note—GAP was one of my most frequently shopped stores this year.
- Jumped on the PARKE train and I must say, I get it. You won’t find me passing up a mockneck sweatshirt. Something of note is not to be afraid of sizing. My eye caught on one of their collab sweatshirts in SET on a recent trip (this one if they still have any) and the only size left was XXL. Yes, it’s wildly oversized, but I actually love the way it fits. Knowing that (and the fact that it doesn’t really shrink much) I’d probably buy L/XL in the future.
what I'm shopping
- Been wanting to add this cast iron braiser to our kitchen lineup ever since I saw it. Love the handles and lid. Matte White, swap to the gold or copper knob—chef’s kiss.
- It never fails, with the holidays and end of year clean out, I always get the itch to update my dinnerware—This year, very specifically, serving pieces. I’ve been crushing on this collection for the better part of this year and finally pressed order on this tray and bowl.
- Remember the Camp Snap 8 from last Love Note? I’m wildly impressed. It came just in time to use it through Christmas and it was so fun. The filters, the ease of use, the way it connects straight to your camera roll—One of the best purchases I made all year. And currently 10% off!
- Loved this hand lotion in the Black Rose & Oud scent so much that we stocked up on the whole product line. Even Michael loves it.
- Been looking for something Victoria Beckham cigarette-holder-wallet-level unique to keep my daily vitamins in my bag and finally struck gold with this personalized brass matchbox. Makes me smile everyday.
what I'm doing
- Letting my mind rest and reset
- Organizing anything and everything
