Description

We've got you covered if  you're looking for a simple recipe for guacamole! This recipe is full of flavor and comes together in just a few minutes. Use it on tacos, bowls, nachos, salads, or eat it by the scoop full!  


Ingredients

  • 3 ripe avocados, large
  • 1 large jalapeno, seeded & diced
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 1/4 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon fresh cilantro, finely chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili lime seasoning
  • 1/8 teaspoon red pepper flakes, optional
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt

Instructions

  1. Prep the avocados - Slice the avocados in half, remove the pit, and scoop each into a mixing bowl. Mash the avocado with a fork or a pastry cutter (my life changing and preferred method!) until it as chunky or smooth as you like.
  2. Add the mix-ins - Add the jalapeno, lime juice, minced garlic, cilantro, chili lime seasoning, red pepper flakes, black pepper, and sea salt. Stir until evenly incorporated.
  3. Taste test. Be sure to give it a taste test and add a spice here or there if needed.

Notes

  • Heat: If you want to add more heat, add some of the jalapeño seeds or more red pepper flakes.
  • To store: Store in an airtight container in the fridge for 2-3 days.
