Description
We've got you covered if you're looking for a simple recipe for guacamole! This recipe is full of flavor and comes together in just a few minutes. Use it on tacos, bowls, nachos, salads, or eat it by the scoop full!
Ingredients
Scale
- 3 ripe avocados, large
- 1 large jalapeno, seeded & diced
- 1 lime, juiced
- 1/4 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon fresh cilantro, finely chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon chili lime seasoning
- 1/8 teaspoon red pepper flakes, optional
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
Instructions
- Prep the avocados - Slice the avocados in half, remove the pit, and scoop each into a mixing bowl. Mash the avocado with a fork or a pastry cutter (my life changing and preferred method!) until it as chunky or smooth as you like.
- Add the mix-ins - Add the jalapeno, lime juice, minced garlic, cilantro, chili lime seasoning, red pepper flakes, black pepper, and sea salt. Stir until evenly incorporated.
- Taste test. Be sure to give it a taste test and add a spice here or there if needed.
Notes
- Heat: If you want to add more heat, add some of the jalapeño seeds or more red pepper flakes.
- To store: Store in an airtight container in the fridge for 2-3 days.
